Join the world's largest diabetes awareness campaign!
The International Diabetes Federation works with its partners to develop a World Diabetes Day campaign that supports the awareness-raising activities and advocacy work of the Federation's member associations and aligned diabetes stakeholders. World Diabetes Day is a multi-stakeholder partnership in which all partners contribute to ensure maximum exposure for the campaign and promotion of the political action that will be required to improve diabetes care and prevention worldwide. The relationship between the Federation and its World Diabetes Day partners is based on open communication, mutual respect and complete transparency. Partners have direct contact with the World Diabetes Day campaign team and are encouraged to work with the team to make the most of emerging opportunities and develop new ideas to increase the exposure of World Diabetes Day.
A unique partnership
An Official World Diabetes Day Partner supports the campaign with an educational grant or contribution of 50,000 EUR for one calendar year and commits to engaging in activities that support the values and goals of World Diabetes Day.
Official World Diabetes Day partners receive an official World Diabetes Day partner logo along with communication materials such as template press releases, boiler plates and regular updates. Partners also receive high-resolution digital copies of all campaign materials designed for printed publication.
During the World Diabetes Day campaign, partners are promoted through the website and printed communications. Partners have direct contact with the central campaign team to help build communication and share information. Partners are invited to participate in the World Diabetes Day stakeholder meetings, where information about upcoming campaign activities is shared and reports provided. Partners are expected to help shape the campaign as part of the team.
Partners are invited to promote World Diabetes Day merchandize by coordinating production and marketing, and developing advertising and sales strategies with the campaign team. Partners receive exclusive deals on World Diabetes Day merchandizing, including favourable rates and branding opportunities.
